To Pit, or not to Pit: That is the Question

Check it out full size, looks a lot better...

Uploading this photo for some reasons...

-No one risked their equipment, only stupid me to get this run. Not even the journalists and photographers of the best newspaper here did, some of my photos were published the next day.

-The drivers decided not to change their slicks to rain tires to keep the position, the lead depended on this run.

-The battle was between the Honda and the Toyota, the Honda ended up winning in the most amazing way i've ever seen, i'll upload some photos so you can see why.

-And the most important one, I just like it :)

Fancy staying out on slicks in those conditions. Absolute madness. As for the photographer who risks his equipment like that. He's on another level entirely! :P

Still, your bravery/stupidity allowed you to capture an amazing image. Fantastic work! I'm keen to see the rest now...

One more thing: that Civic (am I right?) looks like it's been painted to match the Vodafone-sponsored cars of Triple Eight and McLaren...

very good risk in the end, it's turned out to be a great photo with a.. rainy atmosphere haha but it looks pretty good. hope your equipment was all good, if it's not then maybe the risk won't be taken next time ;)

Yeah, i was specting a red flag or that they all go in for tire change but never happened.

The camera... had to improvise a device with duck tape and a plastic trash bag, a friend held up an umbrella for me too.

The other ones are from the same angle, it was a bit hard to move in that situation!

And the Civic, i don't know if they based the paint scheme on the V8 Supercar' Vodafone team, his guy has always used the silver/acid orange colors on his cars.

Trying to push a bit more in every editing, you rally photos are quite an inspiration on that aspect.
