It's about time...

Journal Entry: Mon Jul 6, 2009, 5:21 PM

time to travel to the Central American GT Championship races, like the last 2 years. There are only 3 races outside Costa Rica: El Salvador, Guatemala and Dominican Republic (really hoping to get to that one). The first event is on October as I can remember.

In this series the best of the region fight in the GT1 (700hp+) in cars built almost as in the Trans-Am regulations. There's still suspense on what costaricans are going to race since the organizer of our championship decided to "kill" the GT class in the country (decision that no one shares and well... there will be another journal for that subject. Anyway, hope to get good shots :)

On the other hand the first event next year could be the WRC, the Rally México Corona in Leon, Guanajuato as it was in 2008, my hope is pretty high on attending since one costarican wants to participate on the N4 category.

24 hours of Daytona... Not too far from here, not to expensive, may be there just as an expectator but there's a high chance to get a media pass.

Then it's the 24 hours of Nürburgring, if the costarican driver runs again with Gazoo Racing (Lexus LF-A) there's a high chance of doing a coverage for a local media. Other costaricans may attend so it not only depends on Javier Quirós.

And finally Le Mans... let's say there's a chance of going but still need to find out more info, probably i will meet =danielsun there.

I will be completely wrecked by mid 2010 hehe

Thanks for the fav)))
Think you've got a fantastic gallery there Jorge, bright contrasty photos and good technique. Quite a good racing scene out there in Central America. :D

the power track
the look in your eyes
dry skin of your cheeks
when i pass by your feet
dirt is nothing but your child
holding an early stopage to my speed

..the 3rd and concluding stanza to the song i wrote in the work that you just faved.
Just my way of appreciating...
